Switch Tester

Project Overview

The Switch Tester is a precision automated testing system designed to evaluate the actuation force, tactile response, and endurance of industrial switches. The system applies controlled downward force onto the switch under test using a motorized actuator while simultaneously measuring the exact force via an integrated weight controller (load cell). This enables accurate, repeatable measurement of actuation point, release point, and force-travel characteristics —eliminating operator subjectivity from switch quality inspection.
